Objectives:
- A business and financial software company that develops and sells financial accounting, tax preparation and other services for small businesses, financial professionals, and individuals wanted to determine the optimal feature set for a new SW edition.
Methodology:
- Discrete choice modeling was used to evaluate the impact that each feature had on the upgrade/acquisition rates.
Result:
- Determined those features with the highest utility scores including editing, report access, and filtering. Delivered an excel-based simulator for the company to conduct different scenarios with different features.
